Pacifiers...Taboo?

The latest on using pacifiers:

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends using a pacifier at nap time and bedtime, based on evidence that using a pacifier may reduce the risk of SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome).

Thank you Lord.

Amen for pacifiers! I was 100% opposed to them before I had children.

P.S. Using a pacifier at other times besides nap and bedtime can reduce the risk of a Mommy loosing her mind.

I don't know why people make such a big stink about others using binks-sometimes babies just need to suck to be soothed! I tried so hard to give G one but she just refused. Now when she finds a bink she puts it in her mouth and she has no idea what do with it.
