Michael and I were excited about our tickets to the Australia vs. West Indies Cricket match at the MCG last weekend. Unfortunately, Dominic's fever kept me at home, but I encouraged Michael to go anyways- this is not an everyday opportunity for us!
Michael discovered that the Australian Cricket matches are more about drinking than anything. As you can see in these photos, several policemen were escorting the drunks away, one by one. Michael could barely focus on the match, because he was so caught up in this real-life version of "Beerfest". His favorite highlight, however was the famous Aussie-Aussie-Aussie, Oye-Oye-Oye cheer!
