Sydney: Day One

We arrived in Sydney around lunchtime on Sunday (it is only a 90 minute flight away), so we had plenty of the day left for exploring. We stayed in Darling Harbor, which quickly became our favorite spot in the city. I would definitely recommend this area to anyone. The harbor is lined with hotels, unique restaurants and great playgrounds for kiddies. We also had a wonderful experience attending mass at St. Mary's Cathedral, which was the home base for World Youth Day 2008! The cathedral was absolutely breathtaking.

Here is my dad, taking it all in.
