Sydney: Day Three

This was our most memorable days in Sydney! We began with a ferry tour of the city, which is built all along several harbors and bays. The ferry then took us to Taronga Zoo. Taronga was definitely one of the most beautifully situated zoos in the world. It is on a hill across the bay from the city. In addition to the ferry, we even had to take a cable car up to the zoo, where we could see the most incredible cityscape view.

We had fun meeting several Australian wildlife friends, such as tasmanian devils, kangaroos, and my favorite- the koala. We also saw the typical zoo crew- elephants, tigers, monkeys, giraffes ect. Dominic's face lit up with pretty much every animal encounter, and this definitely made our daytrip worth it.

Darling Harbor

They are so cuddly! We learned that Koalas sleep an average of 20 hours a day. I wonder if this includes baby koalas as well...
