I haven't created an update like this since you turned one, but a birthday is a wonderful way to mark some special milestones!

At two-years-old...

Some of your interests include playing the drums, reading books, being outdoors, fire trucks, tractors, playing at the park, singing and dancing and much more!

Your favorite foods include pasta, oranges, pb&js, milk, yogurt, cheese, crackers and of course, anything sweet!

You are running, climbing, dancing, feeding yourself, kicking and throwing balls and learning to scribble.  We are still working on learning to jump!

Your vocabulary is incredible.  You are speaking in sentences with an average of 4-8 words.  We have no doubt that you understand french and english very well!

You love memorizing songs, rhythms and rhymes.  I can't even put a number to how many songs you sing along too-- there are too many!

You can pick out the piano, drum, trumpet and guitar from songs we hear on the radio.  You can also name most sports if you see them outside or on television-- hockey, football, golf, baseball and soccer are a few of your favorites.

You can read several of your favorite books by memory.  You also love to retell stories and important events from our day!

You can name most of your body parts, and think that bums are especially silly!

Some of our favorite outings include going to the park, taking walks, getting yogurt parfaits from McDonalds, shopping at Costco (you love the samples!) and going to Pretend City and Disneyland.

Other special favorite treats include eating goldfish crackers, cookies and ice cream, and watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse or Toy Story 2.

Your favorite things to do at the park are swinging, sliding, playing in the sand, and wandering through the bushes.

You are sleeping much better at night these days. though not completely regularly.  You sleep through the night about 60% of the time!  You love to sleep with "Llama Llama" and of course, your beloved pacifier ("suce").

You have a great sense of humor, and already love to play jokes on mommy.  Your favorite joke right now is to pretend your juice/water/milk is a cup of hot coffee!!  

You have an incredible imagination.  You love to play with your toys and you come up with amazing stories.  You've even started to mimic different voices while your toys have conversations with each other.

You imitate others constantly-- whether it is good or bad!  You love pretending to cook and bbq, drive, garden, vacuum, and play many adorable games of "make believe".

You are becoming increasingly assured of your independence.  "I can do it" is one of your favorite phrases!

You still love to be held, hugged, and snuggled-- especially by Mommy!

You are beginning a relationship with God, mostly by imitating everybody around you.  You love to pretend to receive and distribute communion, and have memorized the Our Father prayer.  At night you like to add special "thank you's" to Jesus for some of your blessings.  You also behave fairly well in mass, as long as our seat is near the band!

You continue to amaze your Mommy and Daddy-- what a beautiful little person you are becoming!!
