We've made it to 36 weeks, meaning that if our little man came tomorrow, he would still be considered full-term. This also means that we are anticipating his arrival anytime in the next four weeks!
This pregnancy really has flown by in many ways. Although we've had a few minor challenges, overall it has been so smooth and so easy! Compared to my first pregnancy however, everything is easier when you are not nauseous! Right now our little bundle of joy is nestling in my ribs and lower spine, and even his smallest movements are felt. My belly often ressembles an ocean of waves as he practices kicking, stretching and dancing. His personality is already so different than his big brother's: Dominic used to respond to music and stubbornly kick my right rib over and over again ,whereas "little brother" moves CONSTANTLY, yet in a much smoother and more coordinated matter. He loves to see how far he can stretch out, so Mommy can grab his tiny heels from outside.
At this point, we are hoping for a VBAC delivery, rather than another C-section. One of my doctor's requirements for this is that I go into labor by my due date-- so any birth after August 7th will be a scheduled Cesarian. For this reason, we ask for your prayers that our beautiful baby arrive in the next 2 or 3 weeks. Our bassinet is set up, newborn clothes are washed, and our car seat is out and ready to be installed. We truly can't wait to meet "little brother", who has already stolen our hearts in so many ways.
