We finally said goodbye to our condo!
Despite having been ready to move for almost a year, it was still a difficult weekend. I felt heartbroken to be leaving our little home, yet also excited about our new beginning.
We happened to meet the buyer while we were packing up. She told us that one of the reasons she was drawn to our condo was because of all of our religious artwork. She is a devout Catholic, and felt as though she had arrived home. Turns out that we know several people in common, including the priest who blessed our condo!
Hearing the buyer tell us her story gave me an overwhelming sense of peace. It was a gift, as though God was sending us a little sign to remind us that he had heard our prayers all of this time. I also felt as though he was giving us the little push we needed to take our next leap. I pray that God continues to use our old home for His glory!
It is a little blurry, but this was the last photo we took of our little home, after handing over the keys to the new owner.
Goodbye little condo! We are so grateful for the four years we spent here.
