We recently made our first visit to Tom and Judy's new home in Las Vegas. I had a few dance pieces that were competing in their National Competition just a couple of miles away-- it was the perfect excuse for some Papa and Grandma time!
Despite the heat (117 degrees F!), we had a wonderful time swimming, visiting and relaxing.
The kids visited a Children's Fair, where they enjoyed crafts, snacks, and face painting!

To escape the heat, we took Gabriel for his first real haircut.
I still teach dance for a couple of evenings each week. I feel so blessed for this opportunity to share my passion with others, and for the little "break" from my ordinary responsibilities at home. Watching my students improve and grow in their love for our art is also incredibly rewarding!
