obsessions

The boys go through many phases, or obsessions.  An ongoing obsession (and one I plan to encourage forever) is reading.  I read aloud to the boys several times a day.  I think I love children's books as much as they do.  The stories, the drawings, the rhythm of the words... I truly enjoy it all, and even become giddy with each trip to the children's section at our library.

We also have a new obsession with the glasses in the photo below.  Gabriel will wear them for hours on end.  The boys call them "Mr. The Bald Man" glasses.  I could not tell you why!  In fact, I recently asked Dominic if he knew what the word "bald" means.  His reply was that he didn't.

I pray I never forget these precious, beautiful, innocent moments.
