I finally bought paint.
Almost 6-years into this parenting gig, and I had never let my kids paint at home. My poor, deprived children didn't even know how to hold a paintbrush.
I am not sure why, but the idea of painting with them exhausted me.
The boys did really well while painting during an (out-of-home) art class recently. It gave me the confidence boost to add (washable) paint to my Amazon cart. Also, my homeschool syllabus said I had to for a project last week. So I did it.
Mom of the year, anyone?
