Last Saturday we took a walk to St. Kilda Beach, another Melbourne landmark only 15 minutes from our apartment. You may be able to tell from the photos that this beach was no par to our Southern California beaches-- though Australians claim to have much nicer coasts than St. Kilda. We strolled down the pier, and had fun exploring Acland Street and its funky boutiques and cafes.
