A Happy 3rd Anniversary

It is hard to believe that we are embarking on our fourth year of marriage!  

In many ways, this past year brought us closer than ever, beginning with our 5-month journey to one of the most beautiful areas of the world, Australia.  Being away from home strengthened our bond as a family and deepened so many aspects of our friendship.  Our carefree schedule allowed us to simply enjoy being together with our baby boy, and our distance from family and friends taught us to always lean on each other for support.

Upon our return, we felt more grateful than ever for the support of those around us, and for our comfortable home in California.  We essentially had to relearn how to make time for each other, despite our busy schedules! 

I think one of my favorite quotes that can sum up this year was:  "If we can go this long without sleep and still love each other, we can get through anything".  Learning the ropes of parenting as we go has definitely been a challenge as Dominic gets older, but I am so glad that we get to experience it together!  Oh, and let's not forget that just a few weeks ago, we were finally granted the gift of sleep!  It's hard to imagine anything holding us back now ;).

We were also recently blessed with the news of another beautiful baby on the way.  I often hear the quote "love multiplies", but it is truly amazing to think of OUR love as life-giving!  We are so blessed!  Of course, another pregnancy has presented more challenges, but I am always amazed by your humility and in the unconditional love you show me, in sickness and in health!

I am so grateful for this year that we have shared together.  Thank you for your love!
