gratitude turkeys

We hosted a Thanksgiving Lesson for some good friends of ours.  The boys loved playing together and crafting a "Gratitude Turkey".  

Dominic was grateful for Dad, Mom, God, Nicho and Candy.  Gabriel warmed my heart because, being our youngest preschooler, he was the only boy who can't yet print or spell.  He did not want me to help him write out what he was grateful for however-- he just wrote down "letters" (obscure symbols) on his turkey feathers.  If you ask him what he is thankful for this year he replies that he is happy he can finally "poop on the potty".  A wonderful thing to be thankful for!
