2014!

January

Spent the first week in the NICU which thanks-be-to-God culminated into a happy, healthy homecoming for our sweet baby Nicholas.   We also celebrated our sixth anniversary and Nicholas' "due date" which meant that we could leave the house and start returning to the new normal.

February

Sara took some beautiful newborn photos of Nicholas.  Dominic started tee-ball for the first time.  Enjoyed a simple Valentine's Day.

March

Continued adjusting to life with three littles.  Nicholas smiled for the first time.  Read about Lent and Easter.  Got back into a sweet little pre-k routine.  Cheered on the iron-pigs!

April

Went to watch the Anaheim Ducks and the Angels.  Lent and Holy Week.  Nicholas got older.  Celebrated Easter, and attended our Easter Egg Hunt.  Dominic turned five.

May

Mothers day, tee-ball and other miscellany.

June

Fathers Day.  Disneyland.  Nicholas turned 6-months old.

July

Went to Big Bear for the Fourth of July.  Cooked with Grandma and Aunt Barbara.  The boys took their first Skating Lesson.  Dominic attended our parish Vacation Bible School.  Again, Nicholas got bigger!

August

Celebrated Gabriel's 3rd birthday.  Spent a weekend in the mountains with good friends.  Started our kindergarten homeschool year.

September

My mom and I ran the Disney Half Marathon.  Continued to get a hang of the homeschool lifestyle.

October

Spent Saturdays cheering for the Yellow Sharks soccer team.  Dominic dropped his training wheels.  Visited the pumpkin patch, read about autumnpainted and carved pumpkins.  Nicholas turned 10-months-old.  Took a field trip to the Animal Park.  Dressed up for Halloween.

November

Read about Saints.  Nicholas was 11-months-old.  Hosted a thanksgiving play date.  Thanksgiving.  Traveled to NV for a weekend with the Ricci clan.

December

Had a visit from St. Nick.  Read about Advent and Christmas.  Finally wrote about my experience in the NICU.  Ran a 10K with Michael and hosted our annual Advent party with friends.  Went to the Nutcracker with the boys. Christmas, and Nicholas turned one (!!!)
