Come Holy Spirit,
fill the hearts of your faithful
and kindle in them the fire of your love.
Send forth your spirit and they shall be created.
And You shall renew the face of the earth.
Since pentecost is a sort of "birthday" for the Church, we decided to make a cake to celebrate! The strawberries on our Pentecost cake symbolize the flames of the Holy Spirit. We also had 12 candles for the 12 apostles, and 1 in the center representing Jesus.
